The Waterfront Privately Managed Queenstown

What is the procedure with payments and cancellations?

When booking a privately managed apartment, you will almost always be required to make a deposit at the time of your booking, and pay the balance in advance of your stay, so don’t be concerned if your booking agent is requesting payment at the time of booking (as opposed to a hotel, where you might be able to pay on check-in, or check-out).
The deposit is usually non-refundable, or only refundable in limited circumstances. As such, we suggest three steps, to make sure you don’t find yourself losing out on your deposit, or the whole amount you have paid in advance:
1.    Make sure you carefully select the property and the dates that are right for you;
2.    Read the fine print terms and conditions that are provided by your privately managed accommodation provider; and
3.    Take out travel insurance, in case of misadventure: you will be surprised at how inexpensive it can be.
