These days, to save some dollars and the environment, many travelers do not want all of the fancy extras that hotels used to provide, such as a daily service, a concierge and expensive toiletries. If those things are important to you, you should enquire with the accommodation provider, to find out whether there will be extra charges involved.
There are many new inclusions that accommodation providers are offering though, such as free WIFI, or the use of Ipads. The cost of WIFI can be up to $50 per day with some accommodation providers, so in some instances your overall room rate will be lower with providers who include free WIFI as part of their package.
